Atomic Candy

Atomic Candy is a quaint and quirky candy store situated in the historic town square of Denton, Texas, home to the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University, both located within walking distance of the square. Our advertising strategy for the store focussed on special occasions to draw maximum tourist traffic from the square into the store, and build a cult following within the student community. We also built  a bank of creative assets to aid in the future expansion and franchising plans of the Atomic Candy brand.

Role: Creative Director / Director

Alma Mater ran in it’s full-length of 150 seconds in Denton movie theaters in September 2017 to mark the momentous occasion that is National Chewing Gum Day (Sept. 30).

The Shed was created to celebrate Halloween - the season for maximum candy consumption. It lived online.

Our 2016 Halloween campaign captured the prevailing sentiment  of the Presidential Election, and exploited it to draw people into the store and sell more candy. It was an outright success (case study below). The posters are now a part of the permanent collection at Poster House, a museum dedicated to posters, opening in 2019, in NYC.
